A series of twelve songs with piano for children composed by Benjamin Britten between May 1933 and August 1934. Published as Friday Afternoons, Op.7, they were written for his brother Robert’s preparatory school at Prestatyn, where the singing classes took place on Fridays.The edition is part of the ABRSM syllabus (grade 4).
