15 Hungarian Peasant Songs

In preparing this revised edition the available manuscript sources have been compared with the latest printed edition and the discrepancies were analyzed. The manuscript sources are: 1. the sketch of the work, 2. the engraving copy (a copyist’s copy with Bartók’s autograph additions). A corrected final proof, on which some departures from the manuscript may have been made, cannot be located. (P. Bartók)
